Caitlin Anear
Caitlin helps active people get out of pain and back to training through movement retraining and targeted bodywork.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Personal Trainer, she assesses posture, breathing, and movement patterns to fix the root cause — not just chase symptoms. Her work combines trigger point therapy and myofascial techniques with movement retraining to restore mobility, improve stability, and build a stronger, more resilient body.
She works with lifters, runners, and athletes recovering from injury or surgery, and anyone who wants to move better and train with confidence. With 20+ years in healthcare, Caitlin brings a steady, supportive approach focused on long-term results.
Owen Hempton
Owen is a licensed instructor in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu through the headquarters dojo located in Noda, Japan. He began his martial arts career in middle school training in Karate, and since then has trained in Judo and Kendo before discovering the Bujinkan in 2006.
After years of training and a stint in the United States Air Force, Owen moved to Asheville in 2018 and earned his Godan (5th degree black belt) in 2021. He currently holds the rank of Rokkudan (6th degree black belt).
Owen is passionate about teaching and approaches Bujinkan training holistically — studying not just the physical techniques, but the history and culture of Japan as well. During his free time, Owen likes to play video games and spend time with friends and loved ones.
